05. Janinos Cininas graphics workshop, 2024
Jazmina Cininas is a Lithuanian-Australian artist and printmaker who teaches at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. From March 19 to May 10, 2024, she led a two-month printmaking workshop at the Vilnius Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania.
During the workshops, she introduced us to reduction linocut techniques, as well as the process of creating artist books from scratch — including bookbinding and stitching.
These seminars were a great opportunity to learn more about artist books and reduction linocut printmaking. A big thank you to Jazmina for sharing her knowledge, dedicating her time to teaching, and inspiring us.
